The upper and the lower section are made from matte polycarbonate material and plastic around the company logo has a slightly different texture and color to it. The IdeaTab uses a capacitive 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels with a pixel density of 149ppi. Although, the display of this table is only average when used outdoors. The pictures captured outdoors display good quality with realistic colors and clarity. The pictures taken indoors may be a bit towards noisy elements making them look blurry. The front camera is not better either. The pictures taken with the front camera are blurry and not that clear. So its camera may be a big disappoint for a few.
Considering the price range under which this tablet is available, the connectivity options are a great surprise. The IdeaTab comes with the standard interfaces including a microUSB slot for charging, a micro-HDMI port, for TV display, Wi-Fi hotspot with standards 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and the DLNA network for transferring data.
